I call to pay my payment over the phone, but the clerk that took information pay another person policy, I was called and told that pay my policy and wait to be refunded my money in 5 to 10 business days, Lol. Or my policy would be cancelled. One month ago, this month call was told I didnt have a payment until September 24; then rec a letter stated that my policy would be canceled because NON PAYMENT. LOL. My agent was great! They helped me get the best rate and prices are super high now. They were the cheapest in all my searching. I dont understand why prices are so high, but they found one for me. Did everything online, super easy, everything explained. Im so happy, thank you Estrella Insurance!

Preferred solution: I am trying to get my agent in Homestead to change my payment card and i am always put on hold because they do not speak English and when i ask for Agent Ana my call is never answered.

Complaint, court action

The agent put the wrong VIN number to my vehicle when added to the DMV. My license got suspended let alone I work for Uber Eats. Now I can not drive for them because of the situation. Paid $150 to reinstate my license. And am out of work because of the screw up that the agent did. Am behind on my bills because of the situation and am still not able to drive.

Worst Company Not Worth the Headache

By far my worst experience ever with an insurance company. My prior insurance were Progressive which was a great company, I switched over because my premium was very high due to me being under 25.

I never had a accident with any of my insurance company's. About a month ago to be exact, unfortunately after 5 years of great driving record I was involved into an car accident. My policy with Estrella is full coverage. Do you know it's been literally a month now.

Not one adjuster has come out to look at my car. Now they're stating my policy and current address on my driver's license doesn't match. Basically, they are trying not to fix my car. On top of that now this company is trying to say I started my policy this year two months before my accident when I had this insurance for almost an year now.

You guys can just imagine all the troubles I am going through. Meanwhile, still paying my car note also insurance every month for a vehicle I can not drive. Now I have to hire a lawyer to deal with this unprofessional company. Thankfully, I am very well-connected and giving them a few more weeks before I take this very public to the world with my proof.

DO NOT INSURE WITH THIS COMPANY. Trust me, it's better being with an insurance company that does everything perfectly and cares about your property that you are paying for monthly.

None of your post matters. The only thing that does is that on the day of the accident, your driverโ€™s license address matched the address on your insurance policy. Did it?show proof.

The worse customer service and attitude. Personal message giving from Edgar Mar non stop warnings about cancelation before the due date, also message late at night too. It was very uncomfortable every month with them.

Called to make my last payment on 1/05/21 at 3:00 PM, and Jessi handled the call nd from the start of the call, gave me an attitude. She didn't want to be on the phone, the call overall was weak and unpleasant. I have 3 insured cars with Estrella and have been with you all for years. you will more than likely lose me as a customer. Because the one thing I look for in a company, is good service. They refused to cancle my policy

They made it impossible to cancel the policy. I sent them all the documents and signed statements and they still charged me for the policy. They are extremely unprofessional. The employees use personal G-mail accounts to handle requests.

From the very first payment there has been nothing but problems. I was told I had 5 days after the due date to make a payment or itโ€™s cancelled thatโ€™s fine bc I get paid a few days after the due date due to the change in pay date from work. So my problem is I paid IN CASH! the first payment a day after it was due and I got charged a $15 fee for not having money on my card which is weird bc they tried to take it out A DAY BEFORE THE ACTUAL DUE DATE!!! who does that?!? If itโ€™s due on the 3rd of the month why is it being taken out of my account a day before?! So not only did I pay my bill IN CASH I get charged $15 from Estrella for not having money in my account. So, when I ask if they can take off the โ€œautomatic payโ€ they said โ€œsure, no problemโ€ I sit and wait and they say oh they wonโ€™t let me for days. Ok fine!!! So I come back 3 days later and ask again to please take off he automatic pay so that I do NOT GET CHARGED $15 bc u theives wanna take it out a day before its even due. She again said ok no problem let me try it now. She tries it and STILL NO! how hard is it to take off my information?!? Or to even change it?!? Bc Iโ€™m also having another issue where they canโ€™t change my phone number from my husbands to mine! HOW HARD IS IT TO CHANGE *** ON THE COMPUTER?! At this point Iโ€™m pissed off and leave. A few days pass and I get a letter in the mail saying my due date is blah blah blah and the amount due is higher! I go straight to Estrella and ask WHY AMNI BEING CHARGED MORE FOR MY INSURANCE? and she gives me the excuse โ€œitโ€™s bc youโ€™re asking for mail outs. Not paper lessโ€ excuse me?!? So Iโ€™m being charged extra money for INSURANCE BC YOUโ€™RE SENDING ME UNNECESSARY MAIL?!? I GET THE INFORMATION SENT TO MY EMAIL! The excuse isnโ€™t making any sense to me! They couldnโ€™t give me any REAL excuse as to why they were charging me more money so I WILL BE CANCELING MY INSURANCE WITH ESTRELLA AND GETTING SOMETHING THAT ISNT A FAT *** SCAM!

I wasnโ€™t able to give this company any stars in order to give my comments. I have been with this company since 2013-and never had I ever experienced such disrespect from any company in my 33 years of living. I have been dealing with Rosa an agent at the Maryland Pkwy location and she totally screwed me!! My payday fell short of my due date for April, my policy canceled on 4-14 and I paid the 26th which was 3 days past the 10 day. I paid online which it didnโ€™t state the late fees nor that there will be a lapse. I got a letter from the DMV stating I needed to provide information for those days. I contacted Rosa on 5-16 and let her know again I would be and I understood the late fees, she then goes to tell me about the April payment and how the online payments work. I explained to her the DMV letter and that their online process was misleading because it didnโ€™t state that. Rosa then goes to tell me that we can take care of that with my May payment! I informed her I will make the payment on 6-4, which I called her then asked the total and she provided me with it. Before I made the payment I asked Rosa if this amount takes care of everything all the fines, she stated yes! I then asked if I needed to come in and pay or can we do it over the phone, she no we can pay over the phone so I did. I then received another letter from the DMV on 6-9 about my April coverage, I called Rosa everyday since that letter, left voicemails and never received a call back! I finally got a hold of Rosa today at 11:07am and she advised me she will call the underwriting department and see what they can do since they have helped people with this before. Ok great! Rosa then calls me back at 11:21 am and say since it was past the 10 days there is nothing they can do and that the underwriter John said โ€œI should be an adult and pay my bills on timeโ€. Wow great customer service, I then asked to speak with him and ended up speaking with Krista who absolutely did nothing for me even after explaining the situation. John was never available to come on the line. So now Iโ€™m stuck with a DMV fine, my registration has been canceled and all for me trusting Rosa with something she said she could take care of!! Iโ€™m highly upset and very disappointed and I will be taking my story to The New or anyone who will listen!!! This is the location on 3585 S. Maryland Parkway
